A fragrance brand named JIGYEO was born in Tokyo, Japan, inspired by the Korean words “지금 여기,” meaning “now, here.” The brand invites people to embrace the beauty of simply being, without rushing, producing, or proving. With the concept “The scent of doing nothing,” JIGYEO offers fragrance products that allow you to pause and reconnect with the present.

Their product lineup includes items like candles, diffusers, incense, nail oils, and ets. Each item is thoughtfully created to support moments of stillness and self-care in everyday life. I was responsible for the full visual branding, including the logo system, packaging, color palette, typography, graphic elements, social media content, and collateral design.

The overall design aims to reflect the brand’s core message: the quiet power of doing nothing. The logo was developed by combining smooth curves and relaxed shapes to express a sense of time slowly melting away. It reflects the freedom that comes from stepping outside the limits of time. Supporting graphics include simplified shapes of clocks and hourglasses, intentionally left empty to convey time without urgency.

The color palette includes a soft mix of earth tones, muted blues, and warm neutrals. Rather than assigning a single brand color, JIGYEO uses flexible combinations to express the idea that quiet moments can take many forms. This flexibility allows the brand to adapt across different media while maintaining a calm, cohesive tone. Every visual element was designed to feel unhurried, gentle, and a little imperfect. The identity as a whole invites people to take a breath, slow down, and simply be.
