THE MERAKI TOTE

Striking typography for a limited edition apparel product Meraki. Meraki in Greek means “Do something with love, passion and a lot of soul”. This project aims to create a design that empowers our life and ourselves and keeps us to stay being positive even if we are struggling with our life its ups and downs. To show this concept, the main focus of this design is to use the crafted typeface Meraki’s, which has a lot of movement with different strokes and shapes, representing the movement of our emotions when we do something with love, passion and a lot of soul, just like the meaning of Meraki. I used a positive meaning quote for secondary typography “ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER CHANCE TO SPARKLE” is combined with a mixture of san serif, serif typefaces and graphics, representing how our emotions fluctuate every day and visually communicating motion and a positive shift forward for us within our working and personal lives.
